Keith Sewell | Lead Pastor
Keith was born and grew up in the Dothan area. Like many in the South, he grew up in the church. Church was always a part of life. At the age of eight, he prayed to receive Christ. Jesus certainly did not become the focus of his life at this point, yet it was the beginning of that journey. Around the age of 15, Keith began sensing God’s call for more of his life. Unwilling at the time, he rebelled and attempted to avoid Christ’s command. Six years later, he relented from the Spirit’s constant pursuit of him and completely surrendered his life to follow Christ in everything. After that time he enrolled and graduated from the Baptist College of Florida where he earned his BA in Theology. Keith has served two churches in the Dothan area. He served for two years at Rehobeth Baptist Church as Associate Pastor and then for eight years at Ridgecrest Baptist Church as the Assistant Pastor. Most recently Keith served as Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church Denham Springs, LA. After a short time there Keith and his family sensed strongly God calling them to step out in faith and wait on Him. They had no idea that God would lead them back home to plant a church in their home town. You can read about their return home here.
